![]() A famous date. It's the day when the First World War ended so it is widely celebrated and is used as the name of over 1500 roads across France and Belgium. It seems a bit odd to me though because we don't name roads this way in Britain. I think that's because if we had a road called "11th November Road", the day number would be at the beginning so it would get mixed up with the house number.
