 After a drive beset with obstacles, including a cat which sprinted across the road in front of my car and very nearly got squashed, I have arrived at today's first road, which offers a choice of parking. I could park in the lay-by where I'm standing, or at the chemist or at the swimming pool, or I could have kept with tradition and parked at the cemetery further along.
