The are two other sockets in the room which combine both problems. They have narrow holes and are recessed. There are no sockets anywhere in this room that I can use. I'm just going to try to do everything that I want to tonight with my laptop running on its battery, then see if I can recharge it in the car tomorrow. I can power my big camera for the quiz tonight though because I can borrow the cable out of the back of the television for that.
