 Even though this street is only about 20 km from in a straight line from the previous one, it's taken me an hour and a half to get here. I had a bit of an argument with the sat-nav. I don't want to use the toll motorway because I don't know how it will work so I selected a route which avoided it. Then while I was driving, the sat-nav kept telling me that it had found a quicker route. Because it's somewhere where I can't see the screen, I didn't know what it had found and couldn't press the button to reject it. Eventually I resorted to driving 10 miles South. That made it shut up about the motorway but did feel a bit like I was kidnapping it. I still think it sent me by a more complicated route than was necessary.
