 Romania is the only other country I know of which uses the same alphanumeric formats for vehicle registrations as the UK. Both the XX11XXX and B111XXX formats are valid here (where the B does have to be the letter B). The car in the picture is a slight exception though because the Northern version of this registration would be from the Isle of Man.
