 The website where I booked my hotel said that it had free parking. I've just checked another website and that says it has no parking. They are both wrong. The hotel does have quite a lot of designated spaces in this car park which is shared with a large retail store and a gym, but it's only free for two hours. After that it costs more than a pound per hour so a night's stay is going to be pretty expensive, especially as I got here early. I have a slight worry about how whether I will be able to work the payment machine in the morning because the machine at the entrance barrier has a button marked "ticket" but it opened the barrier for me without giving me a ticket. It did display my registration though, and the payment machine seems willing to let somebody type their registration in without having a physical ticket, so it should be all right. I wanted to see what would happen if the Romanian car with the same registration arrived while mine was still here, but I've now learned that there is no such car.
