 My hotel looks worryingly quiet. I hope it's open. After avoiding motorways all day, I accidentally turned onto one at the nearest junction to here, at the point where if I had used it I would have been getting off. More by luck than anything else, I managed to get straight back off at the same junction. That confused the toll booth machine on the exit though. It obviously wasn't expecting anybody to try to get off the motorway using a ticked which had been issued only about a minute earlier at the same toll plaza. I had to wait for human intervention, but then got to leave without having to pay.
