 The Adige valley is a patchwork of huge nets covering vineyards. I didn't manage to stop and take a picture because there was only one lay-by and it wasn't signed in advance. I snapped this out of the car window, which is why it isn't properly composed. I kept thinking that I had descended so far that I must have been almost down to the valley floor so my chance for taking an good picture would have passed, then I would get another view like this and realise that I still had hundreds of metres of height.
